Is polyamide a good fabric for swimwear?

Nylon. Also known as Polyamide, nylon is quick-drying and water-resistant. Found primarily in fashion swimwear, it is incredibly comfortable and flattering to wear. Soft with a slightly glossy sheen, the fabric looks and feels attractive.

Is polyamide a stretchy material for swimwear?

It gives a good stretch, and it hugs your body really well. A typical blend is around 80% nylon and 20% of the stretchy bit

Is spandex the same as polyester?

The Polyester fabric is mainly used for sports clothing,because it absorbs sweat from your body and you feel comfortable in excercise. The main difference is that,spandex is more stretchable and polyester is less. Polyester feels dry to body in usage,while spandex feels wet.

What is the difference between nylon and polyester?

Nylon and polyester are both synthetic fabrics, but nylon production is more expensive, which results in a higher price for the consumer. Nylon also tends to be more durable and weather-resistant, which is why it is more likely to be used in outdoor apparel or gear. Both fabrics are flame retardant, but nylon is stronger, while polyester is more heat-resistant.
